Tyrone tilted his head, strands of hair falling over his eyes, shading them from view.
Before Tyrone could even say a word, Kira, fuming like a storm about to break, shot him a look that could kill and screamed, Youre a traitor! I should have choked you when I had the chance, then I wouldnt be stuck alone in a foreign land, miserable for half my life!
A few days back, Kira secretly had found out that Horace had traveled to Philade of Dracwynne on business. She rushed over, wearing the dress that held sentimental value for them and makeup that made her look like she was trying too hard. She hoped for a coincidental meeting, to maybe catch his eye just like she used to.
However, upon tracking Horace down to a restaurant, Kira saw him dining with Rita and gently offering the latter a slice of steak, the kind of casual affection that stung Kiras heart. That was when her smile fractured.
In the days that followed, Kira kept her distance, following Horace and Rita from afar. She saw Horace taking Rita shopping, spoiling Rita with gifts. It hurt. It hurt a lot. But she couldnt look away. She was like a cockroach, lurking in the dark, watching their every move, imagining she was the one by Horaces side.
The more Kira saw, the more she loathed Rita. She was filled with regret.
Back then, Rita had got lucky. She thought she shouldve gotten rid of Rita while she had the chance! All those emotions built up, ready to blow, and the sight of them at that restaurant triggered the explosion.
Tyrone laughed, almost disbelieving. I think youve lost it. Not wanting to engage further, he turned to leave.
Stop! Kira froze for a moment and then yelled, Stop right there! Do you still see me as your mother?

Damn it! Kira was so angry that she started attacking the nearest car, kicking and punching it like it was her worst enemy.
The noise from her outburst drew the attention of some people passing by.
